Here’s a really simple feeder for those adorable little garden birds that you would love to see more of when you look out the window. Each step can be easily done by the little hands of little people. All you need is:

• Peanut butter (alternitively, jam or butter can be used if there is an issue with peanut allergies)
• Bird seeds and some
• Toilet roll holders

Firstly, while holding a cardboard tube, spread the peanut butter all over it with a little knife.

Into a bowl full of bird seed, roll the buttered tube so that it is eventually covered with seeds. They will stick to the peanut butter.

That’s it, you are done. Now it’s time to feed the birds! Slip the decorated tubes onto the branches of your bare spring trees outside.
